As you may have read in other areas of this website I discuss the importance of using 100% cotton towels specifically DF micro-fiber 100% cotton towels.

I am asked many times, “how many towels do I need?”

The answer varies. It depends on how much detailing you are going to do. If you are going to wash with Dawn and then Clay and then wash with Z7 Car Wash and then remove Zaino polish and then apply Z6 and maybe Z8, well you see what I mean, quite a few.

To make it easy for you I am going to type out what you need for each step. You can add up the total and look for the special pricing below.

Wash with Dawn - 1 medium towel for a medium sized vehicle and up - [Impala to 4 door pickup]. 1 medium small towel for a smaller vehicle.

Wipe off Z18 ClayBar - I medium towel.

Wash with Z7 Car Wash - 1 medium towel for a medium sized vehicle and up - [Impala to 4 door pickup]. 1 medium small towel for a smaller vehicle

Drying the vehicle - 3 medium towels and one medium small towel. Once you have Zaino polish on your vehicle the next time you wash your vehicle you can use a leaf blower to dry - the beads will fly off the slick paint finish. Then all you need is one medium towel and one medium small for the drips.

Removing Zaino Polish - 1 medium towel for a medium sized vehicle and up - [Impala to 4 door pickup]. 1 medium small towel for a smaller vehicle.

Applying Z8 Grand Finale - one medium small towel for all sized vehicles.

Removing Z-PC - one medium small towel.

Cleaning and drying inside the vehicle - 2 small towels.

As you may know these towels are made in the U.S.A. I import them by having them delivered to Niagara Falls, New York, where I pick them up and take them through customs where they are inspected, brokered, with GST paid. I then take they home to Burlington, where hundreds of them are sorted out.

This economical 17 x 17 inch towel is perfect for those of you who prefer a smaller towel, especially if you like to change towels often. It is especially well suited for polishing and using Z6 Gloss Enhancer and Z8 Grand Finale! Hint: fold the towel in quarters. Use one side to apply Z6 or Z8 then flip to the other side to buff. When the buff side becomes too damp unfold to the other part of the half you haven’t used yet. Apply and buff. Do the same to the 2nd side of the towel.
